What are user accounts and why is it important to sign out or remove them when selling your device?

There are several types of user accounts, such as Google for Android or iCloud for Apple devices. These are your personal space where you can securely store information, files and settings. Through your user account, you can synchronise information and preferences across devices. You can connect user accounts to smartphones, smartwatches, laptops and tablets for example.
